Guess who doesn't feel like posting?

Last month (June) my site hit a non-desirable milestone: for the first time since 2006, I went an entire month without posting. And the month prior (May) only had 1 post. And honestly, July wasn’t (isn’t) looking too promising, either.

So, what’s the deal? Well, at least half of it is my lack of desire. The other half, like anyone else suffering from this problem, is time. It takes time to write posts, even if you have the capabilities to draft them (which I do). So it’s a combination of mood/motivation, or a lack thereof.

But. My urges have been creeping back in, albeit very slowly. I’m currently working on a few things that inevitably take up much of my spare time, but those things are nearing a state of completeness. When I’m ready to get back in the swing of things, you’ll be the first to know :-)

Wish me luck.

Believe me, I know what you mean. I used to love working on new content for my site but I just haven’t felt up to it in a long time. It’s possible to just get bored with it or to find other things in your life are taking its place. I think I’m just coming to terms with the fact that computer stuff isn’t really my hobby anymore.
